Three players, three problems
by Apex Soccer Performance · New York, New York
Three players, same age, same club, same sentence after training: “I need to get faster.”
One is quick over 30 yards but slow off the mark. That’s acceleration.
One is fine off the mark but gets caught on long recovery runs. That’s max speed.
One is fast in a straight line but loses every 1v1 because he can’t stop and go again. That’s change of direction.
Same complaint, three completely different types of training. A generic “speed program” helps one of them at best.
If you’re not sure which one your player is, our free scorecard works it out from a few match-scenario questions and sends the matching program the same day. Link attached.
